Buckeye is a fast growing municipality in the western Valley of the Sun. It is situated off the I-10 about 35 minutes west of the Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix. It was incorporated in 1888 and currently has a population of about 40,000. It is flanked by the White Tank Mountains to the north and the Estrella Mountains and Buckeye Hills to the south.

This quiet little community was in the middle of vast farmland not so long ago, but is now being transformed into suburbia, with retirement living and golf courses due to the demand from baby boomers throughout both the U.S. and Canada.

Sundance is a Meritage 55+ Active Adult Living Community within the municipality of Buckeye and is adjacent to the highway (no, you cannot hear the traffic!). It has a golf course and restaurant, a rec center with a large fitness room, pool tables and TVs, a study room with internet access, a large ballroom, 2 swimming pools (one is a lap pool), a whirlpool and 4 tennis courts.

Our property is a 1390 square foot home with the back bordering on the 10th hole about 100 yards from the green and about 150-200 feet from the fairway. The back patio looks out in the distance on the Estrella Mountains to the southeast, while the front yard looks at the White Tank Mountains to the north. It has 2 bedrooms, den, 2 bathrooms, great room, kitchen, 3 stool bar in the great room looking into the kitchen, 2 car garage, and a 450 square foot peanut shaped patio surrounded by a landscaped backyard.

It is fully furnished and sleeps 8 people (2 in the Master Bedroom (Queen sized bed), 2 in the second bedroom (Queen sized bed), 2 in the den (Click sofa) and 2 on the sofabed in the Great Room.

The following are included: Fully stocked kitchen, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, garburator, air conditioning, washer/dryer, cable HDTV, DVD/CD player, electric BBQ, telephone with long distance to anywhere in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico included, high speed internet (both wired and wireless).

Neither pets nor smoking are permitted.
